FROM THE MIND TO THE HEART
We will not simply visit places rich in history. We will experience them through a different perspective
Assisi, Subiaco and Greccio were home to men and women who dedicated their lives to the search for God. Walking where they walked means entering, even for a few days, an atmosphere of silence, contemplation and presence.
Throughout the pilgrimage we will alternate guided visits, meditation, moments of sharing and free time to experience each place without haste.
The great spiritual traditions speak different languages, yet often point in the same direction.
Saint Francis and the saints of the Bhakti tradition teach the path of love.
Saint Benedict and the yogis teach the value of silence.
Christian contemplation and Eastern devotion both remind us that the most important journey is the one towards our own heart.
This pilgrimage does not seek to merge traditions or compare them. Rather, it creates a space where they can be listened to together, allowing each to illuminate the other.
LIVING IN AN ASHRAM
For five days, Vitthala-Kshetra Ashram will be our home
Those who wish may freely take part in the daily rhythm of community life:
- Morning meditation
- Devotional chanting
- Moments of silence
- Prayers
- Vegetarian meals
- Time in nature
There is no need to belong to any particular faith. The Ashram is a place of welcome, where everyone is free to experience the journey according to their own sensitivity.
THE SACRED PLACES WE WILL VISIT
ASSISI – The city of Saint Francis.
A place where simplicity, peace and love for creation continue to speak to the hearts of thousands.
SUBIACO – The Holy Grotto.
The cave where Saint Benedict lived in silence, giving birth to one of Europe’s greatest monastic traditions.
GRECCIO – The sanctuary nestled among the woods where Saint Francis created the first Nativity scene.
A simple, intimate and deeply contemplative place.
ACCOMPANIED BY SPIRITUAL GUIDES
Throughout the pilgrimage we will be accompanied by monks and spiritual guides from both the Sanatana Dharma and Christian traditions.
These are not theoretical lectures, but authentic encounters with people who have dedicated their lives to the spiritual path.
There will be space for questions, dialogue and heartfelt sharing.
